Apexology: Science Fiction and Fantasy is finally here:
http://www.apexbookcompany.com/prod
My contribution in the anthology, co-written with my boy, OMR Anwar, is called 'BollyWorld Gods, Bubonic Men and the Cyberpunk Samurai'. It's a cyberpunk space opera take on the old school sword-and-sorcery-style adventure story. Not the cleverest of science fiction tales - you won't be moved tears and you won't learn something deep and meaningful about life or anything fancy like that - but it's a fun read and was a joy to write.
The anthology is available at the Apex website (linked above), SmashWords, DriveThruSciFi, Amazon Kindle, the B&N bookstore, Sony store, iBookstore, Kobo and Diesel. Basically, it's available.
The anthology is priced at the insanely low price of $2.99 (about two quid) and is bursting at the seams with stories from writers a bajillion and five point three times more well-known and established than me, so you're not just paying for my story. Some of them will move you to tears and/or teach you something deep and meaningful about life.
Here's the generic brief description and a table of contents for your viewing pleasure:

Hey all
Been off it for a month - went to Saudi Arabia for five weeks. And yes, it was awesome.
Noor A Jahangir has been busy, as usual, here's a list of interviews and the like with his name on them. How come nobody interviews me?

Like the title says, my boy Noor's been interviewed again, this time by GL Drummond on the Feral Intensity site. Her inerview seems a litle wacky at times, but then I'm like that all the time.

Hey all
My very good friend, Noor A Jahangir, was interviewed by the people over at the 'House of Toad' blog. Head on over and read the interview, where Mr Jahangir talks about his influences and inspirations for writing his novel, The Changeling King; his favourite characters, both in and outside his own works; and his creative processes. Interesting stuff!

If that's tweaked your interest, you can buy his book here for the ridiculously low price of $2.99:

Just posted the first contribution to the new-look Seven Earths Journal, a piece called 'The Dvargar of Amundborg' by Seven Earths' Commander-in-MFin'-Chief, Noor A Jahangir. It's not a story in its own right, but a selection of free additional chapters for his novel, The Changeling King. Check it out - it's only available on Seven Earths for a limited time.

Seven Earths Publications took a big step and recently published Noor A Jahangir's YA fantasy novel under its imprint as a Smashwords Edition ebook and a Kindle Edition through Amazon. The book follows the inter-related adventures of 6 teenagers, told from various perspectives. The synopsis is as follows:
One summer, four teenagers disappear whilst swimming in a remote lake. Everyone believes it’s a tragic accident. Adam Phelps, the only survivor knows otherwise. Now he is being hunted by mythical monsters. Assigned to protect him, Detective Karen Rainbow is his only ally.
Vasch has been sent to Earth to assassinate Adam. But everything from the atmosphere to mutiny in the ranks is working against him.
Nathan Celic‘s last memory is of drowning. Now he and his friends find themselves on an alien world. They must cross dangerous terrain, outsmart deceitful allies and battle murderous enemies, if they are ever to return home.
Sultan, a Mughal Prince, witnesses the murder of his father, but evades his assassins by crossing the galaxy via mystical means, only to be captured by monsters.
But the trials of their individual journeys are nothing compared to what lies at journey’s end.
The book is available to download from Smashwords and the Kindle store.

Hideaki Akaiwa. My new fucking HERO.
There's one mistake in the article. He did it without the SCUBA gear.
Nothing else needs to be said.

Hi all
I know I haven't been around of late, but I've finally got time enough to post, and HOLY F**K, what a reason.
Anyone who doesn't watch MMA does not know what they missed last night. Brock Lesnar is a beast!
To get his ass beat down like that in round one, and then to come back the way he did in round two, and get the submission? Shit, that was awesome! Brock Lesnar submission! I know!
Zak.

Hi all (as in all THREE of you)
Hope everything's well. I promised I would post more often, then posted less often. My bad. The mother-load of all coursework bombs just landed on my house and I've been in the bunker marking and writing ever since. Still got a hella lot to go through and there's no sign of blitz stopping.
That said, got a few snippets of news to report. First off, Noor A. Jahangir, a very good friend of mine has had his story reach the second round of the Brit Writers Unpublished Award 2010. Woohoo! Head on over to www.trollking.co.uk/ for details.
Second, my FutureQuake story, 'Tom Foolery', is finally in print. Head here to find out more:
